We proudly invite you to participate in the American Legion Fairfax Post 177 Bags of Honor tournament on April 18, 2026! This event is perfect for the whole family, with tournament options for kid/parent pairings and a casual tournament for cornhole players. No matter your skill level, we’d love to have you come out for this event!

The American Legion is a Congressionally chartered non-profit organization of war-time veterans. With over one-thousand members, Fairfax Post 177 is one of the largest posts in the Department of Virginia. The Post has an active Auxiliary unit, Sons of the American Legion squadron, and American Legion Riders chapter and we all work for the care of our veterans and active duty military and their families, the improvement of our community, and the development of our youth.

Tournament Competition Options

Casual Tournament (no partner required)

  • Minimum 4-6 game Swicholio, depending on registration
  • 27’ distance and maximum score of 21 or 10 minutes
  • Winners receive cash, gift cards and prizes from sponsors
  • $25/player

Kid/Parent Tournament

  • 2 game Switcholio (2 games with 2 different partners)
  • 15’ distance and maximum score of 21 or 8 minutes
  • Winners receive cash, gift cards and prizes from sponsors
  • $20/team
