At Irish Rose Cornhole, we believe the best events bring people together. Whether we’re running a corporate team-building tournament, a school fundraiser, or a casual game night at your local brewery, our goal is the same: to create meaningful, memorable experiences that people genuinely enjoy.
But this story didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a single toss.
In September 2021, our Founder and Chief Executive Cornholer Rob Rose picked up a set of bags and started playing cornhole with his good friend Greg (aka Gee-Wiz). He wasn’t very good at first, but he quickly fell in love with the game. He loved the energy, the competition, the laid-back atmosphere, and most of all, the people. The cornhole community was welcoming, supportive, and full of fun – and it immediately felt like home.
That same fall, Rob’s mother, Jaclene Rose (our original Irish Rose) passed away. Known for her warmth, her joy, and her gift for making everyone feel like family, Jaclene left behind a legacy of connection and kindness. Rob wanted to honor her memory in a way that reflected both her spirit and his newfound passion.
So he combined his love for cornhole with her lifelong love for people – and Irish Rose Cornhole was born.
